Our Impact 

Working with Community Action Derby, we have developed a quantitative evaluation tool to demonstrate the impact of our services. Using a variation of the Outcomes Star approach, linked to a bespoke spreadsheet, we can evaluate progress against each outcome target and produce a variety of statistical analyses. This allows us to demonstrate the direct benefits of our Family Support and Mentoring Services for children and families in Derby.

For our Family Support Service we can evidence positive impacts on outcomes such as; school attendance and attainment, levels of anti-social behavior, relationships within the family, healthy lifestyles, and engagement with social and other support services. In their evaluations, our service-users report improvements in over 85% of the agreed outcome targets identified in their individual support plans.

For our Mentoring Service we can evidence positive impacts on outcomes such as; school attendance, self-esteem, confidence and reduced social isolation. In their evaluations, our service-users report improvements in over 85% of the agreed outcome targets identified in their individual support plans.
